Creation in Action

After watching a ridiculous show this morning that spoke of how the world was made...(yes, they claimed it was "made" but they claim there was no Maker!) Anyway, after watching said show I felt driven to open the Truth and remind my soul of these words:

"Who is this that darkens My counsel with words without knowledge?"

Job 38:2

God was there, we were not. He alone was eternal and is eternal. His plans cannot be thwarted and His purposes stand forever. Then why so we, even believers and followers of Christ, fail to walk out this truth?

Every time we are anxious, rebellious, or disobedient we affirm our belief that we know more or better than our Creator and our Savior.

After a powerful and intimate encounter with the Living God, Job speaks words of humility and repentance that stir my own heart this morning in a reminder of Who this is all really about.

"I know that You can do all things; no plan of Yours can be thwarted."

Job 42:2

Oh, Father, give me a heart like Job today to recognize and acknowledge You alone are God and You have all things in Your everlasting arms.

The Lord revealed some powerful truths about Himself to Job ... and to us.
